About Smooch

Smooch, a.k.a Sarina, is a queer Filipina/Sicilian artist raised in the Bay Area. After graduating from San Francisco State during COVID in 2020 with a B.S in Visual Communication Design, she pursued her art full time and taught herself how to sew during quarantine.

Smooch's art is a reflection of herself and the world around her. She is inspired by both traditional and unconventional mediums of art with a strong appreciation for "realness," authenticity, and diversity in all its forms. Her goal is to not only create unique, relatable items, but to also inspire others to embrace their individuality, no matter their background. 

She enjoys creating different mediums of art - embroidery, painting, digital art, and 3D Modeling - Most notably her original embroidered Zodiac Bikinis were featured in Miami Swim Week 2022!
